A home-away-from-home comfortable spot to disconnect in order to reconnect in the heart of the High Forest, aka Hohenwald. You will find this cozy space features a gallery, a boutique art and craft retail corner, and comfortable seating with tables for your card game or to bring your creative projects for open studio hours. A secondary more private room will be designated for small scale performances and classes such as yoga or ballet as well as private meetings or events. At the Den, you can enjoy a peaceful setting with attention to nature and ambient sounds that is not a chaotic coffee shop or restaurant.
Attend an art exhibit, poetry night, or other creative event. Join one of our classes or become an instructor for art, craft, yoga, ballet, music, poetry/writing, and more. Become a member to support the cause and get discounts on shop items and classes.
Shop the curated art and handcraft items. Spend time socializing in person as you play a board/card game or chat with your book club, put a puzzle together or enjoy the reading nook. Featuring daytime events and activities in this non-alcoholic venue that is available for evening rental for approved events / activities that fit within the theme of the space.

WHY THE DEN?
A DEN for animals is their safe space as a dwelling. A DEN in our homes is the casual living space where fun things can happen like game or movie nights, pizza parties, friendship and other gatherings.
The High Forest Den is intended to provide that feeling as you seek a place to spend some time with friends - old and new, of any age.
The space combines comfortable seating as well as tables to spread out for a board game or puzzle, art exhibitions from artist residency participants in our sister organization, and event/meeting space opportunities.
