LET'S CONNECT WITH THE COMMUNITY AND SHARE OUR CREATIVITY!
Do you juggle? Are you a magician? Do you make balloon art? Do you have a craft that you want to share in process? Are you an artist who wants to paint and chat with others?
Do you have a game group or club? Take a parking spot and set up a tournament for people to watch, learn, cheer on, or hop in.
Do you have a card or ma-jong group? Are you part of a sports youth club? Grab a parking spot and showcase your talents with the community. Dribble a basketball or a soccer ball, or other skills you can demonstrate?
Do you play a musical instrument? Are you a dancer or performer ready to have a practice showcase? Do you write and read poetry and want to invite people to join you in practicing?
Do you have an artistic skill you want to share or an interactive experience that would be fun for all ages?

THE EVENT LOGISTICS HAVE CHANGED.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT.
COSTUMES RECOMMENDED, BUT NOT REQUIRED.
The talk of the town is that there's nothing to do, so Valerie is putting together this special event before the daylight savings end and hibernation begins.
This is not your typical vendor or street fair. This is a chance to hang out and meet some Lewis County neighbors with a creative flair.
This is a day time event taking over the city Parking Lot to turn it into a PARK. So we can just ParkIT for a bit :) (and yes Valerie has an event permit and reserved the city parking lot for the day)
BRING YOUR ROLLERSKATES (or skateboards) and there will be a designated area of the parking lot to take a spin. It would be better if you wore your costume one last time before winter sets in.
WEAR A COSTUME OR CHOOSE A PROP FOR a photo/selfie in front of different backdrops.
PARTICIPATE IN AN ART EXPERIENCE - choose the sidewalk chalk art corner or add to a fun mural.
BRING YOUR OWN ART IN PROGRESS - this is an open air studio to meet other artists, journal, draw, paint. Set up an easel or bring your own chair and tables to enjoy the crisp fall day.
GAMES! oversized chess board, jenga, connect four, as well as a scrabble table. BRING YOUR OWN GAME and game friends to hang out for a bit.
MUSIC. Do you love vinyl and just want to listen while you drink coffee from the local shop or have a picnic? Old school turntable will be set up. Do you play a musical instrument - acoustic - and want to show off your talent?
SPECIAL GUESTS:
12:30 - 2PM - MEET SARI, A CHESS MASTER & CHESS COACH/TUTOR who was a child chess champion and now resides in Lewis County. Sari will provide an overview of the chess game and coach at least one match for anyone who wants to participate.
3 - 5pm - MEET JANAE, a FORMER PROFESSIONAL BALLERINA, who has been raising a family, but is ready to start teaching Ballet classes for all ages when the Den opens next spring. Information available all day and possible surprise props to get you excited and take a picture!
--------This is a grassroots no frill party. Costumes encouraged to bring the flair. Valerie will be setting up starting around 9am. Pop on over to get information about her plans for the building and get yourself added to the mailing list.
Bring your own food and beverage - this is intentionally not a food truck or food vendor event. You are encouraged to enjoy the food at any of the downtown restaurants and ask for a take out to enjoy your picnic in the PARK(ing lot).
